The site’s garden half — things you look up, not scroll by date. Where the Stream is a feed, the Lexicon is a reference.
What shipped
- /lexicon — a grid of Terms; each is a short definition that can grow a fuller body
- Focus modal — click a term to read it in place; its URL (#slug) is shareable and Back-button-friendly
- Filter by tag (multi-select) + sort (A–Z / Newest / Oldest) + a copy-link per term
- Terms show up in site search (⌘K)
- A stable catalog number (#N) on each term
Why a separate surface
A defined term is evergreen — you look it up; you don’t care which day you learned it. A date-spined feed is the wrong home for that, so the Lexicon stands apart from the Stream: stream vs garden.
